In the USA, we’re definitely making progress in some areas relative to going out again to restaurants, offices, gyms, sporting events, etc., as we continue to navigate life during a pandemic.

But…some of us are not feeling as elated as we thought we would be with newfound freedoms, long overdue hugs, socializing with best friends, and reconnecting with co-workers in person.

People have told me that they feel rather dull and joyless about everything. They had anticipated jumping up and down with excitement about reclaiming their lives, but instead, their true feelings are more “meh” than anything.
